Memberships

SEAMT is an organization open to all civil/structural engineers and persons with an interest in the objectives of SEAMT.  There are four categories of membership:

  • Professional – State of Montana registered professional engineers who are actively practicing, teaching or conducting research in the field of structural engineering.
  • Student – full-time students who are pursing engineering degrees at colleges and universities and who are interested in the practice of structural engineering.
  • Affiliate – persons with an interest in the objectives of SEAMT including, but not limited to, EIT’s, non-licensed engineers, and building officials.
  • Associate – professional engineers registered in another state or jurisdiction who are actively practicing, teaching or conducting research in the field of structural engineering.

Members of SEAMT are part of an exclusive organization devoted solely to the profession of structural engineering in the State of Montana.  By becoming a member of SEAMT you are making a statement of how important the profession of structural engineering is to the State of Montana.  Membership benefits are numerous and include the following:
